I’ve been reading today that the wholesale price for gas over the weekend momentarily dropped to 0p.  Yes, they were actually giving it away!!!!  The reason?  The recent mild weather has lead to a reduction in demand for gas and left our storage tanks full.  The collapse in price has occured because large volumes of Norweigan gas are being pumped into Britain through the new Langeled pipeline.

What puzzles me is,  if our gas stores are full and the Norweigan’s are pumping ever more in, where does the surplus gas go?
